In my spanish II class that I am taking this semester I have noticed that we are taking a more right brained approach to learning. My teacher has been frequently talking about how we need to learn with more right brained aspects. He was teaching how to read an article in spsnish and not have to look up every word and just get the main points. He also was telling us to pick out the things that will help us remember that article or character the most.
Also in my spanish class I see the aspect of play through humor. My teacher is also cracking jokes and this really helps me learn better! I had a different teacher last semester and she didn't make jokes that often so it was hard for me to learn but this semester with my teacher including humor I am able to retain the information that I am learning. We also play games in this class to help review and it really does help us remember.
